Dominik Mucha signs at FC Mecklenburg Schwerin
The 22-year-old Polish goalkeeper completed his entire youth in the academies of Slask Wroclaw, Miedz Legnica and Gornik Leczna, where he made as the 3rd goalkeeper jumped into the Ekstraklasa. Most recently Dominik played there for the U23 in the 4th Polish league.
We've been looking for a long time on this position because we wanted to get a goalkeeper who has certain features/skills that can help FCM. Furthermore the pressure on this position for Maximilian Böttcher, as well as Till Meyer increased, says sportdirector Björn Blechenberg. We want competition on every position, so that the guys get the maximum in every training session and they develop quicker every day. There will be no guarantees of regular places this season, as the squad has increased in quantity and quality so we can and want to react to all situations, Blechenberg adds.
